Bravoleum Hacienda El Palo includes two of its EVOO varieties among the finalists of the prestigious Leone d’Oro contest.
It is the only non-Italian company in the world that has two representatives in a single category. It is the most important Italian competition together with the Sol D ’Oro, where it was already awarded last February.
Bravoluem Hacienda El Palo has managed to include two of its oils in the select list of finalists for this year's edition of the prestigious Leone d'Oro International contest, together with the Concorso Internazionale Sol D'Oro, the most important and internationally recognized of how many are celebrated in Italy. Specifically, it is the Picual and Nevadillo Blanco varieties that officially aspire to proclaim themselves as the best oil in the world in the Monoparietal Exterior modality. The company from Jaén is not only the only one in the entire non-Italian world that has two representatives in the same category (from a cast of only eight EVOOs, two bear the signature of Bravoleum Hacienda el Palo. It also has serious possibilities of being awarded in the aforementioned competitions in the same year, since, it should be remembered, just four months ago in Verona, their variety Picual received a Gran Menzione at the Concorso Internazionale Sol D'Oro held in February.
After the official publication of the list of finalists of the Leone d'Oro International 2020, it only remains to know the winners and the special mentions, which will be made public at the official gala of the contest to be held on July 11 in the surroundings of the Lake di Garda, one of the most famous and tourist in Italy. Bravoleum Hacienda El Palo now hopes to convince the jury that its extra virgin olive oils deserve to be recognized internationally again, as has happened in this same contest in previous editions, being in fact one of the fixed among the winners and finalists, and also, as we have previously recalled, in the Concorso Internazionale Sol D'Oro, among other examples.
