Another year in the Top10 of Evooleum Awards

On Monday, the delivery of the Top 100 Evooleum Awards to the Best EVOOs in the World took place in Madrid.

 

A contest organized by AEMO (Spanish Association of Municipalities of the Olive Tree) and Mercacei, publishing house specialized in the world of aove. This event aims to recognize the quality of the best extra virgin olive oils in the world, being considered the most important in the world, since it is one of the most rigorous and reliable on the international scene by the strict methodology and its spectacular jury that forms the Tasting Panel.

 

A total of 23 tasters are those who have chosen, with great confidentiality, the first 100 birds that will be the protagonists of the 2019 Evooleum Guide.

On this occasion there have been 27 countries that have submitted 700 samples of olive oil and in which a total of 67% are Spanish.

On this day different awards were distributed among the best monovarietal EVOO, best green fruity and best ripe fruity, best coupage, best oils with PDO from Spain and Italy, best oils presented by Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Morocco and Israel, better organic production and better oils by varieties (Hojiblanca, Cornicabra, Picuda, Picual, Arbequina, Frantoio, Picholine Manzanilla Cacereña and Coratina).

This year we have achieved it again. And is that our BRAVOLEUM - SPECIAL SELECTION OF OILS MAKING THE STICK - PICUAL VARIETY returns to position itself among the 10 best oils in the world, with a total score of 94 points.
