Our Bravoleum Picual Variety has been rated as the fourth best oil in the world, according to the jury of the Concorso Internazionale Sol D’Oro 2020, the most important in Italy and the most prestigious of those celebrated on the planet.
The EVOO of our mill in Jaén obtained a 'Special Mention' in the medium fruity variety and was only surpassed in the final classification of the Verona contest by three Italian oils.
The contest organized by Veronafiere has been held since 2002 and aims to recognize the best extra virgin olive oils of the moment, in addition to promoting improvements in production and quality. The event serves as a preamble of "Sol & Agrifood", the International Exhibition of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Quality Agribusiness that is also held in the town of Veronesa and this year will take place between April 19 and 22.
And it will be within the framework of this fair when Bravoleum receives the trophy that accredits the 'Special Mention' and the fourth place of “Sold’Oro”, the last one so far, from an extensive list of international awards.
With this recognition, which added to the Gold Medal of 2016, the 'Special Mention' of 2017 and the Silver Medal of 2018, it is found that in Italy, Bravoleum is considered one of the best oils in the world.
This recognition joins the Silver Medal recently obtained by our Picual Variety in the 21st Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards, one of the most important competitions in the olive oil competition in the United States and the fifth in all the world, which meets the highest standards of integrity and professionalism by awarding medals to the best oils around the world.
